The Location
The residence is between the traditional villages of Abondance and La Chapelle dAbondance, both of which are just a few minutes drive away. La Chapelle dAbondance is situated at 1021m and is part of the small ski domaine of Chapelle dAbondance-Torgon (in Switzerland? with 22 ski lifts and 75 km of piste. The capital growth potential of this area is excellent due to increased financial investment to improve general infrastructure and ski lifts. The village is typically traditional and there are all the facilities and services you need to enjoy your stay here including restaurants, bars, a supermarket, shops and a cinema. Abondance offers several more restaurants and bars in the other direction and is also a beautiful traditional village.

The Ski Area
As well as the local ski domaine of Chapelle dAbondance-Torgon is of course access into one of the largest ski resorts in the world Les Portes du Soleil. It can either be accessed in La Chapelle dAbondance by a major bubble lift or in Chatel, which is a 10 minute shuttle bus ride from the residence.
Les Portes du Soleil is a vast region of 14 interconnected ski resorts in the Alpes, situated between Lake Geneva, Switzerland and Mont Blanc, France, offering 650km of ski slopes. Ski resorts in this region include Les Gets, St Jean d’Alps, Chatel, Montriond, Abondance and Chapelle d’Abondance, the majority of which are small to medium sized resorts. The best known and also the largest resort is Morzine which sits underneath Avoriaz, the highest of the resorts in the Portes du Soleil region, offering guaranteed ski conditions even in milder climates.
The 650 km of ski covering 14 resorts comprises over 200 different pistes of varying standards. Not only does the region cater particularly well for advanced skiers and snowboarders, but there are also a selection of slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers at all resorts. The region offers excellent ski conditions well into April and the best ski is said to be in the spring time when snowfall is good coupled with fantastic blue skies. The resort becomes a very different place during the summer months with hiking and biking on offer as well as lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from.

Les Fermes De L Hermineur, La Frasse Nr Les Carroz
The development
A small charming development of three traditional chalets consisting of just 23 one to three bedroom apartments. The chalets will all occupy a south west facing plot with one existing chalet to be completely renovated and another two to be newly constructed. All of the chalets will have incredible views of the Aravis mountain range and the surrounding countryside due to their sloping orientation (please see image).
The chalets will be constructed and renovated in a traditional style using local wood to reflect the local architecture and to give the feel of authentic mountain living. The Location
This lovely freehold residence is situated in La Frasse, a small traditional village in the Haute Savoie region only 4 kms away from the village centre of Les Carroz and the large popular ski domain Le Grand Massif. Araches La Frasse is situated at an altitude of 955 metres on a large sunny plateau dominating the Aravis Valley and is part of the Les Carroz area. There is a ski shuttle bus that runs to Les Carroz in winter and the bus stop is located just behind the apartments.
The Grand Massif ski area consists of 265km of pistes, 80 ski lifts and is made up of five resorts including Les Carroz, Flaine, Morillon, Samoens and Sixt. At an altitude of up to 2,500 metres it offers a large and varied ski area with off-piste challenges for the more capable skiers as well as extensive intermediate terrain. There is also a new cable car, La Keudeuse that links Les Carroz with the rest of the Grand Massif area, in just six minutes. In the summer months there are plenty of activities on offer including canyoning, white water rafting, mountain biking and fishing to name just a few. Les Carroz also has a leisure centre and Flaine has an 18-hole golf course. The proximity of the ski area to Mont Blanc ensures great snow conditions usually for around 5 months during winter.
This development is extremely accessible and is only 40 minutes from Geneva airport and 20 minutes from the Cluses TGV train station.
