In the heart of the Alps, between Geneva and Chamonix (Mont Blanc), Samoens is a beautiful mountain resort surrounded by seven peaks of up to 2500 metres high. The region is ideal for both winter and summer holidays due to the breathtaking countryside of lakes, waterfalls, forests and vast open countryside. Samoens is a popular destination not only for skiing (130 pistes between the 5 resorts of the Grand Massif area: Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz, Flaine and Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval), but also for walking, sightseeing, fishing, rafting and sailing and the natural charm of Samoens which has maintained its traditional character and authenticity.
