Le Domaine De La Tour
The beautiful Provencal village of Plan de la Tour is surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean woodland including oaks, pines, olives, mimosa and chestnut trees.
This traditional French village is one of the few remaining jewels of unspoiled Provence with its old lanes, terracotta roofs and ancient bell tower. Despite its timeless charm, it still has all the amenities one could wish for. There are several small grocery stores, a Tourist Office, a pharmacy, tabac, one bar and a host of marvellous restaurants to satisfy every palate. There are even two working vineyards on the edge of the village for those who want to try the local wines.

On Thursday mornings the village hosts its regional Market Fair. Other local village markets include St-Tropez, Port Grimaud, Grimaud, Cogolin, and La Garde Freinet. These markets sell locally produced foods, clothing and handicrafts. Boules and tennis can be played in the village, alongside maybe the odd celebrity !

Plan de la Tour is situated in the south of Provence, in the coastal region between St Tropez (18km), Sainte Maxime (7km) and Grimaud (5km). It is a rural, wine growing area surrounded on three sides by the Massif des Maures mountain range and the Mediterranean on the coast. The countryside around Plan de la Tour is picturesque with stunning views of the Gulf of St Tropez from the higher village lanes. It is superbly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts during peak tourist seasons, but its close proximity, via country lanes, allows easy access when desired. The village can be accessed from either the Le Luc/Le Muy exits (30-40 min drive) of the A8 motorway, direction St Tropez/Ste Maxime respectively. A8 provides easy access to all the main attractions on the Cote d?Azur.

Le Domaine de la Tour is a small select new built development of 16 houses in a secured gated estate overlooking the hills just 100m from the village centre of Plan de la Tour. Delivery is scheduled for early 2010 and comprises 2 detached houses with private swimming pools and a mix of 14 terraced or semi-detached houses with shared pool and pool house. Prices from:

2 bedroom houses 84m2 from €430,000
